The tortoise eschews technology. He prefers walking, reading, and songs that have none of that new fangled tempo and harmony. The tortoise does not mind arriving last. In fact, he finds it rather more dignified.

The kitten loves the tortoise, but can not tell him so. She never learned to write, as she is a part of the IM (instant message, for the tortoises) generation. She made a sweet little iMovie confessing her love, but tortoise has no computer. She races ahead, but can't help looking back.

The tortoise plodds along, and notes the lovely foilage. He frowns at a cellular tower whose location forced the removal of several large popplers.

The kitten waits by the cellular tower to surprise the tortoise. She sees the tortoise frowning at her. She is sad.

Tortoise knows better than to become involved with others problems. Tortoise slowly walked past kitten pretending to not notice her. "A sad kitten, should find catnip", thought tortoise.

Kitten sniffed as tortoise walked by. She tried to look extra miserable, but could not catch his eye. "Uncaring tortoise should be soup", she thought. Then instantly regretted it.

At that exact same moment through extreme coincidence, the tortoise remembers his dear old friend who was at once soup. "The soup was so good" he thinks, then throws up in disgust. Cannibalistic tortii are often wrestling with themselves, after all.

The kitten runs ahead.

The cat runs away, scratching the idiot who tried to put glue on it.
